How do I reconstitute?

Enter vial contents and solvent volume; the tool returns stock concentration. Solvent choice and handling follow the receiving laboratory’s SOP. For in vitro research only.

What units does the calculator use?

Mass in mg/mcg, volume in mL/µL.

Why that solvent volume?

It favours a transfer typically between 50 and 500 µL, which is comfortable on a pipette. Very small transfers are less accurate.

What are the optional syringe marks?

Optional. Some labs use a 100-mark/mL graduated syringe to measure the same mL/µL volume. Marks are not a dose.
