FAQ & Handling

Answers to technical questions about peptide stability, storage, reconstitution, and EU shipping.

How should lyophilised peptides be stored before reconstitution?+
Store cold, dark, and dry. Short-term storage at 2–8 °C is acceptable for many compounds; −20 °C is preferred for longer timelines. Keep vials sealed until you are ready to reconstitute.
How long do reconstituted peptides remain usable?+
Stability depends on sequence, diluent, temperature, and access frequency. Bacteriostatic water extends usable life compared with plain sterile water. Aliquot and freeze if you will freeze-thaw repeatedly. When in doubt, reconstitute fresh before critical assays.
What diluent should I use?+
Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is standard for multi-day use at 2–8 °C. Sterile water suits single-use aliquots frozen immediately. Never use tap or unfiltered laboratory water.
Why does my EU order arrive faster than third-country imports?+
Peptides EU ships from within the European Union. Intra-EU parcels do not pass through customs clearance — avoiding delays that routinely add one to three weeks to non-EU orders, even when goods are not seized.
Will I pay import VAT or handling fees on delivery?+
Peptides EU ships from within the European Union. Orders to EU member states travel as intra-EU parcels — there is no customs clearance, no import VAT collected at delivery, and no carrier brokerage fees at the door.
How are peptides packaged for shipping?+
Orders are dispatched in discreet, tracked packaging with protective materials to reduce transit damage. Peptides are stored under controlled conditions before fulfilment.
What shipping options are available?+
We offer reliable delivery to all EU countries with discreet, tracked shipping starting at €7.99. See checkout for rates to your destination.
How do I read a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?+
Check product name, batch number, purity (HPLC), identity confirmation (mass spec), and test date. Always archive the COA matching your vial label. Selected independent test reports are available on our homepage quality section.
What if the draw volume exceeds my syringe capacity?+
Use more diluent to lower concentration, choose a larger syringe, or reduce the target sample size. Our peptide calculator warns when the required draw exceeds your selected syringe.
Are your products for human use?+
No. All peptides are sold strictly for in vitro and laboratory research purposes. They are not intended for human consumption, therapeutic use, or veterinary application.
